Please be advised that under the interests of health and safety, we have had no alternative but to remove the swing seats in the Heron Way Recreation Ground today owing to the condition of the fencing behind.
We are in discussions with the landowner to organise for the fence's immediate repair, and in the interim we have tried to reinforce the concrete posts with wooden supports.
Please ask your children, if they are using this park, to avoid this particular area and to not remove any of the safety tape, rope, or cones we have put in place.
Thank you.
